Day Job Killer Review
Day Job Killer Review
By John Hocking
I am sure by now that you have received dozens of emails from
marketers promoting Day Job Killer. Like you, I was skeptical
from the beginning because of the name alone. I was tired of
all the over-hyped rehashed information ebooks on how to get
rich quick.
My curiosity finally got the better of me and I decided to take
a look at the sales letter. The blood splatters in the header
graphic was a "Nice Touch". The sales letter was one of the
longest I had seen in a long time. With each benefit and proof
I became more interested in the product. I mean if Chris could
go from nothing to over $1,000,000 in sales, I wondered how
far I could take the information.
I gave in and bought Day Job Killer. Before I downloaded
Day Job Killer, I was presented with a one-time offer for
Project X. I thought to myself now that was a clever way to
increase sales for affiliates. I also purchased Project X
and will feature it in another ebook review.
I must say that when I opened up Day Job Killer, I was a bit
disappointed. The ebook is only 69 pages long. I was hoping
for more information then that. The truth is, Chris trimmed
off all the fat and just gives the juicy bits of information.
Day Job Killer consists of 6 advanced techniques for increasing
affiliate sales. Below I will give an overview of the techniques
included.
• METHOD 1: Direct Linking "X"
This technique was the most familiar to me. It is basically
a variation on the "Google Cash" method for picking a
product with an affiliate program and directly linking your
affiliate link to the product using Google Adwords.
Chris discusses the best way to increase your CTR while
keeping your costs down. Chris also details how to find
and pick a profitable product to promote.
• METHOD 2: The Leveler (Parts 1 and 2)
The Leveler was the first technique I found innovative. It
basically involves setting up a squeeze page and offering
a free report attacking the claims of the product you are
targeting. Not only are you going to turn heads with this
method, you will also be building your own opt-in list you
can market other products to.
This method is more involved then Direct Linking "X" because
you will need you own domain, hosting and the ability to
create an opt-in list.
• METHOD 3: Campaign Nuking
Google will only allow two ads to resolve to the same url.
This means that if more then one affiliate and a vendor are
promoting a product using Adwords, then a price bidding war
will break out.
With Campaign Nuking and other advanced techniques, Chris
shows you how to win the war without outbidding the
competition. When you are done, one or more of your
competitors ads will have been nuked. These techniques
could save you the cost of the ebook many times over.
• METHOD 4: The Under Cutter
This is a more advanced technique that will require work
on your side or maybe you can outsource it. You basically
find a profitable product and write down the benefits
and create your own mini report. You can sell your
report for $5-$20 and undercut the competition.
I can see how this could be profitable but it is definitely
not the technique you should start with.
• METHOD 5: Media Manslaughter
In this method, Chris shares the secrets to placing your ads
in offline resources such as newspapers and magazines for
as little as possible. This method may or may not work for
you depending on what product you are promoting.
• METHOD 6: Copy The Best: Offline
This method involve writing press releases. The downside is
no way to know if they will even be published.
Will Day Job Killer help you quit your job? MAYBE!
There are a lot of hidden costs in the program. You have to
do a lot of testing to find profitable ads and products.
The temptation is to take the shotgun approach and test
lots of products at the same time.
The problem is that while you may make some sales today, you
may not be paid your commission for as much as 30 days. You
ad costs will continue to rise and you will be charged at
the end of the month.
Can you make a living from affiliate sales? Absolutely.
Chris made over $1,000,000 last year but it did not happen
overnight.
My advice is to get Day Job Killer and start SLOWLY. You can
then reinvest your profits to work into new products. Think
of it as a snow ball rolling downhill. Your profits will
get larger over time.
For even more strategies you can get Project X and Adwords Miracle.
Both are excellent ebooks and will be reviewed in the near
future.
Overall I would say that Day Job Killer is for the Intermediate
to advanced affiliate marketer.
I hope you found this review helpful.
